Bonfire Wins 2020 Bronze Stevie® Award for Customer Service Department of the Year

Bonfire is the only procurement solution to take home the prestigious customer service award two consecutive years 

(KITCHENER, ONTARIO, August 11, 2020) – Bonfire Interactive Ltd. (“Bonfire”), a subsidiary of GTY Technology Holdings Inc. and a leader in strategic sourcing and procurement software, today announced that they have been awarded a Stevie® Award in the category of “Customer Service – Department of the Year” for computer software companies. The Bonfire Client Experience team was also recognized for the same award in 2019, and remains the only solution to have been awarded the honor for two consecutive years. 

More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Over 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie® Award winners.

The award serves as a reminder that even as COVID-19 continues to impact the economy and public sector procurement, having the right people to help procurement teams navigate this new reality is more important than ever. Bonfire, the only procurement solution award recipient, has helped over 450 public procurement teams navigate this “new normal” through the guided implementation of new digital tools and continual expert coaching.

Initiatives launched by the team in 2019 include predictive client health scores and client enablement events, such as webinars and user meet-ups. 

Building off a strong foundation of customer support to launch renewed customer success initiatives in 2019, Bonfire’s Net Promoter Score (a popular metric for gauging customer loyalty and satisfaction) is now 73, surpassing top brands like Sony, Apple, and Netflix.
