October 15, 2020

Kitchener-based software company ranks no. 30 of 415 in Canadian Business 2020 Growth List

(KITCHENER, ONTARIO, October 15, 2020) Bonfire Interactive Ltd. (“Bonfire”), a subsidiary of GTY Technology Holdings Inc. and a leader in strategic sourcing and procurement software, today announced that it has been ranked no. 30 on Canadian Business’s 32nd annual Growth List, the definitive ranking of 415 of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

The Growth List, produced by Canada’s premier business and current affairs media brands, is Canada’s most respected and influential ranking of entrepreneurial achievement. Bonfire made the 2020 Growth List with an established five-year revenue growth of 7001%. The company’s commitment to empowering its clients to make data-driven decisions, while opening the door for remote collaboration, has enabled procurement teams to operate successfully during the ongoing pandemic.

“The companies on the 2020 Growth List are really exceptional. Their stories are a masterclass in how to survive when the economy throws a curveball. Despite turbulence, 2020 Growth List companies showed resilience, spirit and, most importantly, empathy and strong leadership,” says Susan Grimbly, Growth List Editor. “As we celebrate over 30 years of the Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies program, it’s encouraging to see that the heart of Canada’s entrepreneurial community beats strong, even in tough times.”

“Bonfire is thrilled to be ranked in the top 30 of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies,” said Corry Flatt, CEO of Bonfire. “There’s no question that COVID-19 caused unrivaled challenges this year, and public sector procurement teams deserve major praise for the way they have managed this crisis. We’ve been honoured to work as a trusted partner for so many of these organizations, and this recognition from Canadian Business is a testament to the resilience and agility of our team even in the midst of a pandemic.”

Companies on the 2020 Growth List will be profiled in a special print issue of Canadian Business and published online at CanadianBusiness.com. To view the full Growth List ranking, visit GrowthList.ca
